Rajesh Uthamanthil, DVM, PhD, DACLAM

Rajesh Uthamanthil, DVM, PhD, DACLAM, is the Chief Medical Officer (Preclinical & Translational) at Seattle Childrens.  Dr. Uthamanthil received his veterinary degree from India and followed with a PhD in Comparative Biosciences from University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in bioengineering from Rice University. Just before joining Childrens, he was Associate Vice President as well as the Attending Veterinarian at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He has also worked as an associate professor in the department of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Uthamanthil is a diplomate of the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM).  NWABR welcomed "Raj" to the Board in 2016.
