The mission of the Student Biotech Expo is to engage high school students in new creative ways to demonstrate what they know and are able to do within the disciplines of biotechnology and biomedicine.

Students have the opportunity to create 2D and 3D art, music, literature, theater, studies of career/industry, molecular models, teaching plans, innovative research projects or electronic projects. The Expo promotes biotechnology and biomedicine at the high school level and allows students, teachers, scientists and the general public to work together as a professional learning community.
