Breast Cancer is a disease in which cancer cells form in breast tissues. The human breast is composed of lobes and ducts. Each individual breast has about 15-20 small sections which are known as lobes. These lobes have subsections called lobules. The lobules and lobes are connected to ducts by thin tubes. A good example of a lobule would be the milk duct for feeding infants. A very essential part to the breast is the lymph node. Lymph nodes take the shape of beans. Lymph nodes act as a filter. They filter the substances in lymph and help fight infections and disease. Groups of lymph nodes are found near the breast in the under the arm area, above the collarbone, and in the chest.
