Did you know that only (1) 37% of consumers know about Genetically Modified Foods. That’s not a lot of people, and Genetically Modified foods are the source of huge debates in the US and around the world. Almost all the processed and packaged foods that we eat contain plants that have been genetically modified. Also most crops grown in the U.S. at this time are Genetically Modified in some way. Now that probably sounds scary right? People messing with the food that you eat and you don’t even know about it. Even the words genetic modification sound kind of scary. Maybe it makes you think of some giant Godzilla vegetable, now that’s scary. But that’s not reality. This website’s purpose is to give you information, and to lay out the pros, cons and the controversy about genetically modified foods, so that you can decide what to think.
