LIFE SCIENCES RESEARCH WEEKEND

Pacific Science Center
November 4-6, 2011

NWABR teamed up with Pacific Science Center to co-present the fifth annual Life Science Research Weekend!

The event showcased the great research and talented scientists in our community.  It was an opportunity for the public to meet real scientists and see the passion that scientists have for the work they do.  The activities were designed to engage children--and their parents!

Tell your teacher about Life Sciences Research Weekend and suggest they bring the whole class next year!

Research institutions and companies throughout the state are invited to host hands-on activities that reflect the innovative life sciences research that they are doing.

The Life Sciences Research Weekend is a fantastic opportunity for our young people to connect with the world renowned biotechnology institutions that call the Pacific Northwest home. I applaud their efforts to inspire students to pursue careers in the life sciences.
