CURE logo Our CURE program promotes understanding of translational research – the process of applying basic research to the development of clinical therapies – as well as the ethical considerations such research raises.

The long-term goals of our work are to increase understanding of: the nature of biomedical research, particularly with respect to clinical trials and the translational research process; the relationship between science and ethics in the responsible conduct of research; and the safeguards in place to protect animals and human participants in clinical research.
