James Riddle, MCSE, CNE, CIP
James Riddle is Vice President of Client Services at Kinetiq, a consulting and technology division of Quorum Review IRB. At Kinetiq, James leads a team of technology and regulatory experts who help organizations remove obstacles, improve focus, and move forward with new ideas. Previously, James was the Assistant Director in the Institutional Review Office of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center with oversight over the AAHRPP accredited Human Subject Protection Program and AAALAC accredited Animal Care and Use Program. Fred Hutch is one of the nation’s largest independent cancer research centers and ranks first in NIH funding among all independent cancer research institutions. Mr. Riddle has served on the board of the Northwest Association for Biomedical Research, as a site visitor for AAHRPP, and is a faculty member, mentor, and regular speaker for Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research. Prior to joining the Hutchinson Center, James served as Vice President of Operations at a major independent IRB where he led the operations for one of the largest human research protections organization in the world. He has extensive experience managing large operations and technology teams in the healthcare, human subject protections, and lab animal care and use fields. His expertise includes reengineering operational processes, systems evaluations, development and implementation of technology solutions, integration of technology solutions with operations, and management of large IRB and IACUC systems. Mr. Riddle has a bachelors degree in accounting with emphasis in computer science from Western Washington University, College of Business and Economics.
