Laura Pearson

Laura Pearson joined the NWABR Board of Directors in 2018 and served one year.  She has been serving as the IACUC & IBC Administrator at the Center for Infectious Disease Research in Seattle, Washington since February 2017. Prior to joining CID Research, Laura served as Colony Manager & Training/Biosecurity Coordinator at Allen Institute for Brain Science from 2013- 2017. Preceding her move to Seattle, Laura was located at NIH in Bethesda, MD managing the Division of Veterinary Resourses (DVR) Parasitology and Health Surveillance Lab from 2007-2013.

Laura received her B.S. in Animal Science from Delaware Valley College. She is a member of Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research and the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science (certified in levels ALAT- CM).
