Mary Healy

Image

Mary Healy joined the NWABR Board of Directors in 2021. She is Executive Director for Providence’s Office of Research Administration, which she established in 2019. ORA provides centralized research admin services to over 20 research sites throughout Providence, from Alaska to Texas. She oversees Research Operations (clinical trial contracting, budgeting, coverage analysis, billing, CTMS) and Office of Sponsored Projects (pre- and post-award, grants management, finance, AR). Prior to ORA, Mary held other research leadership positions at Providence for over 20 years, including Executive Director for Oregon’s Regional Research department and Research Administrator at Oregon’s Cancer Institute. Mary graduated from Santa Clara University and received her MPH from Oregon Health Sciences University. She enjoys travel and outdoor activities including running, skiing, cycling, paddle boarding. She is a Board Member of Post58, an organization that connects Portland-area teenagers with the outdoors, building resilience, group skills, and leadership through challenging activities.
