Shannon Ramsey

Shannon Ramsey joined the NWABR Board in 2016. Shannon Ramsey began working in biomedical research in 2004. In 2005, she became the IACUC Administrator for an industry CRO. In 2013, she joined the Allen Institute in Seattle, WA as the Program Manager for Research Compliance. In this role, she serves as administrator for the IACUC and IBC, and as the Human Protections Administrator.  She has a BA in history from the Evergreen State College, and is a Certified Professional IACUC Administrator and a Registered Laboratory Animal Technician.  Ms. Ramsey is a member of the board of the Northwest Association of Biomedical Research, and has served on the planning committee for NWABR’s IACUC Conference since 2007 and its IBC Conference since 2015.  She is a member of Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research and the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science.
