Student Bio Expo

The mission of the Student Bio Expo is to promote an understanding of bioscience research among high school students. We provide access to scientific resources and engage students in new creative ways to demonstrate what they know and are able to do within the disciplines of biotechnology and biomedicine. By connecting students, teachers, scientists, and the general public together, we strengthen our life sciences community.

SAVE THE DATE!

The 14th Annual Student Bio Expo will be held on Thursday May 22nd, 2014
at Shoreline Community College..

The 13th Annual Student Bio Expo was held at the new University of Washington Husky Union Building.  The Expo filled both ballrooms to the brim with students, teachers, mentors, sponsors and hundreds of visitors. We feel very fortunate that we could share this experience with so many people.

The mission of the Student Bio Expo is to promote an understanding of bioscience research among high school students (11 graders). We provide access to scientific resources and engage students in new creative ways to demonstrate what they know and are able to do within the disciplines of biotechnology and biomedicine. By connecting students, teachers, scientists, and the general public together, we strengthen our life sciences community.

The NWABR Student Bio Expo is a unique program that engages high school students in creative ways to demonstrate their understanding of the life sciences, and that connects them to scientists and resources in the community.
